Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s Father Appears In Court

Dr Nandipha Magudumana‘s father and the former employer at the Mangaung Correctional Services appears at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court. This comes after the pair was apprehended by the police, following the arrest of Dr Nandipha Magudumana and convicted Facebook r*pist and murderer Thabo Bester in Tanzania.

This arrest follows Police Minister Bheki Cele‘s media briefing where he states that both Thabo Bester and Dr. Nandipha Magudumana could not possibly have acted alone on this escape which has gripped the world.

“We believe that the doctor herself could not have done it alone – this thing of keeping him safe and all that running. But if police are part of a cover-up, then we will find them. But I believe that a big portion of police, they just try to do their work and fly below the radar.”

According to Silindelo Masikane of the eNCA, the case has been postponed for 11am.
