An all-new Emzini Wezinsizwa-esque show is currently in the works and is set to hit our screens soon.
Moja Love is reportedly halfway through with the shooting of the 80's hit sitcom which will now go by it's new name 'Emzini Wabadala'. The revamped show will star Lillian Dube and the remaining cast of the original SABC 1 sitcom, which include characters Mofokeng, Tshawe and Chirwali.

The original show focused on the lives of five men from various tribes who left their hometowns to earn a living while staying together at a men's hostel in Johannesburg. The new Moja Love show, however, will fast forward to current times as the characters navigate life at an old-age home, hence the name 'Emzini Wabadala.'
With Jerry Phele, Vusi Thanda and Jabulani Nkosi being the only remaining lead actors of the 80 's sitcom in the new Moja Love spin-off, Lillian Dube will step in as a matriarch who is responsible for taking care of people at the old-age home.
"The new format is centred around an old-age home, whereas the original show took place at a hostel," source told DailySun.
The mole further revealed that the SABC refused Moja Love the right to keep the original format of the show, which is why it changed it.
According to another mole, Lillian Dube was brought on to give the show a higher profile and she is said to have been shooting since production began a few months ago as the show is scheduled to start airing in the coming months.
