Lethabo Sebetso, affectionately known as Focalistic, is arguably one of South Africa's highly acclaimed rappers and he has managed to make a successful career in the music industry.
The rapper has a glitzy wardrobe and a success story that justifies his fortunes, but he can't seem to shake the perception that he spends excessively. While many people are breathing through the wound due to the exorbitant costs of living, the rapper spared no expense when he splurged R100 000 on a filthy expensive Louis Vuitton leather jacket.
Social media is a buzz since he flaunted the highly expensive designer item. Controversial entertainment blogger Musa Khawula shared an image of Focalistic wearing a Louis Vuitton Toile Military Jacket.
The rapper wore Louis Vuitton sunglasses priced at R15,700, Amiri ripped skinny jeans priced at R17,700, an MSGM black T-shirt at 3,700, and Bottega Venetta boots worth R12,500.
Tweeps weighed in on his exorbitant purchases adding that they hope he is saving up money because they don't want to be asked for donations in a few years.
@COMFORTFLASH: “Can somebody educate our artists about investment, properties, and businesses coming years some of our artists will be broke”
@ChrisExcel102 "In a few years we will be asked donations to save his house."
@Cruella31470236: “I’d rather invest in something than buy material things honestly, chasing wealth over public praise”
@mo_esha8: “He is saving some of the money right? We don’t want ‘guys let’s donate to help'”
This is after singer and song writer Zahara, has been pleading with the public to help her save her house. The singer is reportedly on the verge of losing her townhouse due to defaulting on her monthly installments.
A Tweep recently started a fundraising campaign aimed at assisting Zahara to pay for her house. She pleaded with the public to donate R350 each. Others have dragged the musician, they want the Loliwe hitmaker to allegedly stop blaming the DJ Sbu and Tk Nciza for her downfall.
Zahara is accused of seeking financial assistance from the public to rescue her from life's trials after being accused of misusing her money. Others said that since she is a legend, she has a great chance of rebounding. They believe it's high time that she releases new music and starts making more money again.
AneleBooi10 tweeted: "The Zahara and Dj Sbu saga is really irritating now... Zahara needs to stop wanting us to feel sorry for her...she must just make music and we'll buy.”
NthabeyK_Styles tweeted: “She actually doesn't even need a cent to start what DJ Sbu found her doing. She's forgetting that she is a big brand in her musical genre. Aish mothuseng hleng, but psychologically. Didn't she have at least 1or2 friends within the industry who can assist with just words of wisdom?”
DumolwakheM tweeted: "Mna I feel nothing for her honestly. Uxakwe yintoni engaqhubeki making good music outside of DJ Sbu? Surely Zahara can continue making good money from new music if she’s as good as she claims, while still fighting for what is owed to her by TS Records.”
