Ambitiouz has done it again and this time, rapper Ifani was the one to catch some smoke. The record label once again caused a bit of a stir on Twitter when they shaded Ifani, calling him a clown.

The disgraced record label is always on the lookout for new talent so when they were scouting for an artist to sign, fans rooted for Ifani. "Mention that dope artist you think should join the A-team," they asked, and one tweep mentioned Ifani.

“We said rappers not clowns,” Ambitiouz responded, wrecking havoc in the comments section. Now, we know Ifani has been releasing new music ever since making a comeback, but has not given other rappers a run for their money. When he came back, he had one mission and that was to burst AKA's bubble after he called him a "rubbish artist."

Fans came to his defense saying he was successful when he was big, and has hits bigger than their current signed artists.

"Ifani has a GOLD Plaque. Stop Playing and respect artists. And the only clown is you admin, hiding behind Ambitious Account. Lets makes this space a positive space.

"He's not a clown, he's creative individual and has influence...its very unfortunate that record labels will never understand this.

Speaking to Slikour 6 years ago, Ifani said he lost it all when he quit making music, "I have disappointed a lot of people, my entire family is disappointed in me. I have disappointed my fans, I have disappointed my baby mommas, I have two now, they don’t want to see me.  And the main thing they talk about is 'why aren't you working? Why are you chilling at home. There I am chilling at home, doing nothing.

He then apologised for neglecting his career as he reckons he was tasked to take Xhosa rap to greater heights. "For that disappointment I want to say I am sorry. My career was supposed to blossom. Take Xhosa to overseas, I had dreams but all of a sudden I said No," he said.

Apart from releasing singles, Ifani hosted a travel and lifestyle television show on SABC 3 called Amah Knows Best. This saw the rapper travelling all across China and trying out the different cuisine's. Amah Knows Best is all about trying out different ancient generational recipes that have been shared with Amah's which are elderly people, over the years.
