Scandal actor Mathews Rantsoma, is by far one of the most talented young actors on South African TV at the moment. The actor has secured his place as leader of the pack for 2022, and he is stopping at nothing to fulfill his dreams.
Mathews might have not bagged the Best Actor In A TV Soap at this year’s SA Film & Television Awards (SAFTA) ceremony, but he is happy for the one who won.

Taking to his Instagram account, he thanked those who prayed for him to win “It’s sad that I didn’t get the award but am happy that the people who won… congratulations to all the beautiful artists who won. See you at work. To everybody that wished, hoped, and prayed for me to win… those hopes and prayers won’t go unnoticed. Thank you, I love you forever. To my friend @_mvelomakhanya your a fucken Rockstar mama… keep at it. Don’t stop for anyone. Am absolutely proud of you dawg,” he wrote.
The actor recently bid farewell to his on-screen wife Lindiwe played by Nomvelo Makhanya. The actress parted ways with the show after a decade. Taking to his Instagram account, Mathews reflected on working with her.

You have taught me sooo much and most times held the space for me, you have truly been one of THE MOST GENUINE SOULS I HAVE WORKED WITH THUS FAR…More will be shared soon but for now.
