Jamie Bartlett's death left the nation shocked with many people choosing to celebrate his life and his immense talent. The actor who played the famous villain David Genaro, was 55 years old when he passed away.

News of his passing was reported by eNCA after a close family member confirmed it.
His girlfriend of two years, 29-year-old Rosa Onius shared a video of the two of them out and about at a Pretoria club. On Sunday, the couple went to Lifestyle Brooklyn Club where they also shared drinks with Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo.
Just before his death would be announced, the mother of four kids, shared the video of them partying and also shared pictures of herself. She thanked Jamie for making her night extra special, “About last night at 012_lifestyle_brooklyn. Champagne poppin. @realjamiebartlett Thank you for making my night extra special as always.”
Paying tribute to Jamie was Somizi who said Jamie was in high spirits and greeted everyone at the club, and that he made fun of him for doing that.
“And just like that. Last night would be the last night together literally. I even made fun of you for greeting each and every person @012_lifestyle_brooklyn. Including the kitchen staff. Your spirit knew…..farewell my Jamie.”
He then shared a picture of them together and they both looked extremely happy.

When their relationship was still fresh, Jamie gushed over her and called her his best friend He told You that they had met years before actually starting to date, “We haven’t been apart since the day we reconnected. I have a partner in crime, a best friend, and the best lover I’ve ever had.”
