It's a new year and there's honestly no better way to celebrate than starting a new gig. One person who knows all about this is Khanya Mkangisa. The actress and TV presenter is the latest cast member of popular Mzansi Magic telenovela, The Queen.
Taking to Instagram, Khanya, who stars as Akhona on the hit show, said about her new job this week: "Guess who just made their debut on The Queen!?! I’m super excited and honoured!" She thanked fans for supporting her. "It’s truly appreciated," she added. Instagram/@ilovekhanya Khanya, who started out as a TV presenter on YoTV back in the day, first spoke about her new gig on Metro FM in December last year.
Although she didn't reveal the name of the show she had just joined, she said on theFresh Breakfast: "It's one of the most watched series right now on South African television."
