Khaya Mthethwa wows at live DVD recording

Gospel singer Khaya Mthethwa was overwhelmed by the support he received at his first ever live DVD recording.

The season eight Idols SA winner performed his show, The Uprising, at the Durban Christian Centre on Friday.

Khaya says he will never forget the night. He took to social media to express his excitement about the support he received.

“I thought I knew support… But the full house I got last night humbled me soooo much!! The Uprising Movement has begun!! Inkosi inibusise!” he tweeted on Saturday.

Several artists, including Ntokozo Mbatha and Neville D, joined Khaya on stage.

Fans and music industry insiders are still raving about the spectacular evening.
