Makhadzi has finally dropped the highly anticipated Ganama which was supposed to feature King Monada. However, fans were surprised to find out that Monada was removed from the hit single - the track only features Prince Benza and has are not that impressed.

Fans have taken to social media to voice their disappointment with many saying that it just doesn’t slap the same without the King. “Makhadzi has no respect for her fans at all...At first, she lied about the PR Stunt, jiki jiki King Monada is not on the GWADANA song. I hope y'all don't get surprised when SAMAS do the things...Nonsense lena,” posted @CozminoNtsomi.

“Makhadzi and King Monada situation is a clear example of when 2 elephants fights it's the grass that suffers, we are the grass.” Tweeted @kulanicool.

Just a week ago, Makhadzi and King Monada had the whole nation excited after teasing the track. The two were in the studio working on the song at the time and the reaction from Mzansi made it an instant hit. However, things quickly went south between the two after they started fighting for the record. Telling her side of the story, Makhadzi claimed that the song was hers as she came up with the concept and the melodies: "GHANAMA SONG IS MY SONG, MY CONCEPT and MELODIES, Featuring King Monada and PRINCE BENZA ON THE BEATS. I did a song after recording monadas song called impossible,” she posted.

"Our king must just drop his song called impossible ft makhadzi.. 'cause we can't let greediness make us fight! How can you own a song without doing anything?”
An angry Makhadzi said that she won’t allow him to own her work despite the love and respect she has for him.

"Our king must do the right thing 'cause I won't allow him to own my work matter the love and respect I have towards him...You all decided to idibala and I like it .. lol like you did when you hakamatorokisi on a piano [gqom] song hamba ngolayini.. we cannot control you guys what to do on a song! You are our bosses we do music for you and we love you all. King must just swallow his pride and give me credit for my work." She further added.

Responding to Makhadzi’s message – King Monada claimed that he thought they had both agreed that the song would be released as a joint track. The Limpopo-born hitmaker further added that the latter was influenced by her superiors to claim full ownership of their song. Because the track was recorded in Monada’s studio – he said that he would take full ownership of the song. Clearly, that did not work as the Maorokisi hitmaker has released the record as her own.

Have you heard the new version of Ganama? What are your thoughts on it?
