The second annual South African Amapiano Music Awards have since been postponed due to new developments. The event organizers saw fit to push the event date a little further following experiencing challenges that still remain unknown to the public.
This year's event was scheduled for the upcoming Sunday, the 2nd April and according to the organizers statement shared by social media entertainment commentatorPhil Mphela, the awards event organizers were carefully considerate to postpone due to new developments.

The last year's inaugural South African Amapiano Music Awards was off to a great start and the fans excitement and anticipation was all worth it. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, this years event have been postponed to an undisclosed date.
"The South African Amapiano Music Awards would like to announce that the 2023 awards schedule for Sunday the 2nd of April, have been postponed due to new developments. reads the statement
The event organizers have profusely apologized for any inconvenience caused to their patrons, sponsors and event supporters. However, the organizers have since promised an even bigger and better event.
"We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding this event, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our guests and sponsors. The decision to postpone the event was not an easy one, but it was made with careful consideration. We are working diligently to identify a new date and we will announce it very soon." reads the statement
The event organizers have since assured all those who had bought tickets already to rest assured as they have plans in place. All the patrons who would require their full refunds will be reimbursed as well tickets exchanges for those who still intent to attend the event.
Even though the voting lines were already closed but it has been announced that they will resume open, and a new closing date for voting will be communicated with in due time.
All tickets and sponsorships will be honored for the rescheduled date and our ticketing partner Computicket will be contacting all affected patrons who bought tickets and afford them an option to either exchange their ticket for this new date or request full refund. Voting lines have been extended and the new date for closing votes will be announced when we reveal the new event date. in addition, we will be sending nominees updated posters with extended voting information to share with their fans. We appreciate your understanding and support" ends the statement
All the nominees will be sent new posters to share with their fans, followers and supports once a new date have been established.
