The star joins a handful of ZAlebs who had to bear the pain of losing their beloved pets. In January, Linda Tweeted about visiting a Vet to assist with her puppy. Upon entering the hospital, they noticed a couple who had just lost their pet. “At the vet and as we were walking inside a couple came in with their dog. They just left in tears with only the lead. they came in to put their dog down. I’m so hurt for them” she wrote.

She was then faced with the possibility of losing her puppy, "That time I’m so so scared of Penguin possibly dying."
Now, the actress announced that her dog has unfortunately passed on, "It happened. I will miss him everyday."
Comforting her were people who went through the same ordeals, "This is making me so sad , As someone who loves their dogs just as much as you do , I cant imagine the pain you had to go through to decide on putting him down. I Am So sorry," a tweep wrote.

Another wrote, "When I started working where I work now there was a big scary cat there that I hated so much but it loved me so much. Unfortunately it had an infection on its leg that wouldn’t heal. He had to be put down and honestly it was just a sad week at the office. Really sorry Linda."

A few weeks ago actress Amanda Du Pont also had to bury her little fury friend. Her dog Dior passed away on January 1st and said she had been crying ever since finding out.

"RIP to my baby Dior We lost her last night I am broken and have been crying all night. She was the purest soul, tap dancing and picking up a toy in her mouth every time I walk in the door. Slept by my feet always! Loved to be carried like a baby and was no stranger to the soft life. We don’t deserve the love and joy dogs bring into our lives. She loved anyone and everyone. RIP my baby Dior - Like Pop Smoke, you left us on a high like a legend!"

The actress also took the opportunity to warn pet parents not to go to Bryanston Veterinary Hospital.

"She had back pain two days ago and we took her to Bryanston Veterinary Hospital to be examined. If you love your pets PLEASE DO NOT take them there you will lose them with no solid explanation or communication. All they say is that she could have had a bad reaction to the anesthesia, but they aren’t sure."
