Mohale Motaung who rose to fame as media personality Somizi Mhlongo’s much younger boyfriend turned husband in 2019 has continued to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry outside Somgaga’s shadow and has also added entrepreneur and motivational speaker to his repertoire. He will be giving a lecture to students at the Alice Campus at the University of Fort Hare in the Eastern Cape tomorrow morning at 10 AM.

Mohale shared on Instagram that he will be offering consumer education and teaching the youth about financial savviness and important money matters tomorrow in collaboration with Know Your Cash, a consumer education campaign and financial service prover sponsored by South Africa Insurance Association (SAIA).
In an enthusiastic video he posted on Instagram, Somgaga’s ex-husband urged his followers to spread the word about his lecture amongst their friends. “Hey guys, Mohale here, so this Friday the 22nd of April, I will be at The University of Fort Hare, Alice Campus at the poolside at 10 AM. So tell your friends to tell their friends that we’re coming with Know Your Cash,” said Mohale.

Tweeps have been sharing their opinions about Mohale’s announcement with many showing their lack of confidence in the influencer’s lecture to University students with claims that he isn’t well informed about consumer education and deeming him incapable of giving financial advice while others continued to deduce his professional status to his romantic involvement with ex-husband and South Africa Idols judge Somizi.

One Twitter user shared a sarcastic tweet teasing Mohale and calling his marriage to Somizi a “heist”, he wrote, “So vele vele Somgaga was dating a mastermind of cash, aahh no wonder he didn't see the heist coming bamvathela nge never see.” Another one said that Mohale is only savvy about cash if it's in his partner’s bank account.
Although many had negative views on the actor’s hustle, a few others commended him for being in his bad with one tweep who wrote, “Go teach them about money brother.” while a few others sent in congratulatory messages.

Mohale has over the past few months developed thick skin where social media hate is concerned. He has been subject to a lot of online drama since his split from superstar Somgaga and after sharing the abuse he allegedly endured during their marriage. While most fans and followers showed him support, others called him names from a cheater, and liar to a gold digger referring to his marriage as a money heist. He now addresses and deals with haters online with grace and humor and without taking himself too seriously and it works for him.
The skincare and events organizing businessman Mohale has resurfaced in tabloid headlines once again in the past days following the trailer release and announcement of the upcoming season of Somizi’s reality television show Living The Dream. The latest season exclusive to Showmax will begin at the heart of their divorce period.
