The songstress told Daily Sun that her fragrance line comes in three different scents called, Royal Gold, Glamazon and Radiance.
This for her is a dream come true and she is excited of this new journey, “...when I started out in the industry, my only focus was music, and that is all that I knew and wanted to be – a singer. But years down the line I realised that I’ve been limiting myself and I can be whatever I want to be, being a musician shouldn’t be my only focus.
“I used to steal my parents’ perfume while growing up. I love smelling good and this is because I believe having a good scent says a lot about you, explains who you are to people and makes a statement on your behalf and that is what we want to achieve with our fragrance,” she told the paper.
Like many other ZAlebs with their own businesses, Nomcebo says it was not easy but she loves the outcome of their work, hoping that people will love it as well. “I love the outcome of everything and I believe that consumers are going to as well because we have tried our best to come up with something different that is not in the market – and I was hands-on, so whatever I touch turns into gold.”
Another ZAleb who advises that people should be hands on is DJ Zinhle who spoke about the success of her three business ventures, saying people should be involved in every single aspect of their business.
This was when she opened her very first flagship store in Mall Of Africa, "Start where you are, start with you. Play the cards you are dealt and bet on yourself. Don't wait for someone else to make it easy for you, throw yourself in every aspect of your business. Don't just think about it be about it. Don't focus on being unsure, use your energy to make it happen make that move and don't be afraid to go the long way," advised Zinhle.
Zinhle just opened her second store in Durban and is not looking to stop as she will be opening another one in Polokwane.
"I am super excited about our new flagship store at The Mall Of Africa. This is a very big deal for my team and I. In a time where there has been so much loss, so many setbacks and hardships, I realised that it is important to take time and celebrate every victory along the way."
"It may sound crazy but 8 years ago, no one wanted to work with an ambitious DJ from Dannhauser. Even a weekly appearance on national TV didn't convince them that my brand and I were quiet worth the risk. They judged who I was at the time and couldn't see who I could become at the time," she continues.
"I had to shift my focus, I stopped looking for partnership instead I went out and looked for ownership. It wasn't as easy and powerful as I make it sound in fact I had to work harder than I ever had. There was blood sweat tears and a lot of life lessons in between," says Zinhle.
