The star-studded cast of the movie features renowned actor Eddie Murphy,  Arsenio Hall, and Mzansi's IT girl Nomzamo Mbatha. The starlet has always been tight-lipped about this project and to date, it is unknown what her character entails, and with a big project like this clearly, we are in for a treat and a big surprise.

Taking to Instagram to express her excitement about this project, Nomzamo wrote, "Never thought I would make a dope collar pin 😁😎 *rubs hands like Birdman. The work. 🙏🏾Water the seeds of your heart’s desires with gratitude and thankfulness.," reads her post.

The Amazon original movie will premiere on the 5th of March and we are already waiting with bated breath. Nomzamo bagged her role in the film in 2019 and she was overflowing with joy.

She did not only make Mzansi proud of this latest achievement but her parents too. Taking to Instagram she reflected how her journey has been in showbiz.

"I am the product of many wishes, hard work, and black women's prayers. Grateful for the grace that has been bestowed upon my life. "To my father who worked in a textile factory, you taught me the power of chasing my dreams and rewards that come with that. To my mother who is a teacher, you taught me tenacity and a whole lot of CHUTZPAH. Ngiyabonga SUTA noMANATU ... life dealt you bad hands but you taught me to never accept something that I COULD change," she wrote.

From her role on Isibaya, we have always known that sis was destined for greatness and she is the epitome of "your dreams are valid." Nomzamo left Isibaya last year, to pursue her dreams in the Big Apple and she is living no stone unturned to keep on flourishing. She thanked the team behind the show for grooming her into the wonderful actress she has since become.

"Nkosyam, I’m weeping at this unexpected and heartbreakingly beautiful surprise. Ngiyabonga to my friends, my family. What a journey. Thank you for raising and challenging me into becoming the performer that I am today. It’s not goodbye, it’s a see you later.” she wrote.

The actress and Thuso Mbedu recently made the list of Essence’s 20 Young Black Hollywood stars To Watch for raising the South African flag high and for their impeccable talents. In celebrating Mbatha, the piece wrote that:

Nomzamo Mbatha knows no bounds or limitations. While filming Isibaya, she spent time touring Kenyan refugee camps in her role as an UNHCR Ambassador. It is that level of care and commitment that has made her a sought after star in projects like “Tell Me Sweet Something” and “The Jakes Are Missing.” In 2015, she became the first South African to represent Neutrogena and signed a talent management deal with CAA (Creative Artists Agency). Up next, Mbatha will be starring with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall in “Coming 2 America” in a role that’s described as being “kept under lock and key.”

Congratulations Zamo.
