2020 has been a hard year for everyone, including golden girl Nomzamo Mbatha.

Word is Coming 2 America will now be released on March 5, 2021 on Amazon Prime.
This comes after Amazon Studios announced on Friday that it has bought the rights to the movie from Paramount Pictures for a whopping $125 million. The first Coming to America movie was released in 1988 and grossed more than $288 million worldwide.
According to IMDb, in the sequel Coming 2 America Akeem (played by Eddie Murphy) finds out he has a long-lost son and returns to America to meet the unlikely heir to the throne of his native Zamunda. Although Nomzamo is listed with the lead cast members, it is still not clear what her actual role entails.
Some of the big names Nomzamo is set to star alongside include James Earl Jones, Arsenio Hall and Garcelle Beauvais (who were all in the first movie). The likes of Wesley Snipes, Tracy Morgan, Rick Ross and Teyana Taylor will also star in the movie.
Local actress Salamina Mosese congratulated Nomzamo by tweeting a link to an international blog in which Nomzamo's name was mentioned and Enhle Mbali also chimed in with celebratory emojis.
As if that's not enough, Nomzamo is looking glorious as the cover girl on the latest issue of Glamour magazine.
She took to Instagram to thank her parents as she reflected on her amazing journey: "I am the product of many wishes, hard work, and black women's prayers. Grateful for the grace that has been bestowed upon my life. To my father who worked in a textile factory, you taught me the power of chasing my dreams and rewards that come with that. To my mother who is a teacher, you taught me tenacity and a whole lot of CHUTZPAH. Ngiyabonga SUTA noMANATU ... life dealt you bad hands but you taught me to never accept something that I COULD change."
Nomzamo officially moved to LA last year and upon landing her international role she permanently left her role on Isibaya, leaving many fans heartbroken. Isibaya has since been cancelled.
She also recently came back home to SA where she did a fantastic job as the host of the Miss SA 2020 pageant, which was won by the beautiful Shudu Musida.
