We all have people that we look up to, right? For Nomzamo Mbatha, that person is Winnie Madikizela Mandela.
In an interview with Love Brown Sugar, Nomzamo explained her love for Mama Winnie.
She said: “Just a pioneer, a woman of strength, been through a lot, very misunderstand but a rock.”
The Isibaya actress added that she can relate to who Mama is because she is also misunderstood. “A lot of people wanna box me into being something, but I do know that inside I’m a rock, I kinda can face anything. She’s one of the beacons of light that I just want to hold on to.”
