Ntombi Mzolo's daughter, Linile was just celebrating her 3rd birthday three weeks ago and had started her swimming lessons. The sad news touched her celebrity friends and followers who sent her messages of condolences.

Ntombi told Daily Sun that her daughter got killed due to a car accident, “I don’t think I am strong enough to talk about it right now, but she lost her life through a car accident. We’re heartbroken and still coming to terms with her passing. I can’t even properly explain how I feel right now as it has been a traumatic time for me and my family. But through God’s grace, we are being strong.”

"Heaven has gained another Angel @iambabylv. God we trust you to get us through this," she said on Instagram. Her beautiful daughter leaves her parents, sister and grandmother behind.

Losing a child has to be the most daunting occurrence ever for any parent and our heartfelt condolences to the Mzolo family.

It is reported that Mzolo also lost a child back in 2015 after her second pregnancy. The baby was apparently diagnosed with a rare heart condition called Hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a condition which is a result of her left heart not functioning properly.

Her miracle baby had been diagnosed whilst still in his mother's cosy womb. Doctors did advise her to terminate however placing all her trust in God, she could not do so. The shocking news was told to her whilst her husband, of 10 years was out of the country.

When she had given birth, her son got rushed to ICU. All looked promising however she announced that he was no more.

In other sad news, Uzalo star Gugu Gumede is mourning the loss of her politician mother, who is the leader of National Freedom Party, Zanele kaMagwaza Msibi. She passed away last week Monday, due to cardiac arrest linked to COVID-19.

Speaking to Daily Sun, she said her family asks for privacy, "I ask you nicely to give me some privacy as we are mourning and preparing a great send-off for my beautiful and wonderful mother," the publication quoted Gugu.

Today, she is still reeling over the passing of her mother.  “There is never a point in life where one wishes to walk the path that I am on; but such is life - we are born, we fulfil our assignment to the best of our abilities, and we depart.” She wrote.

“My mother was a giant. A king. She came from nothing and had the task of breaking many generational curses; blessing many family members in between. She was a dedicated public servant; a pioneer and activist who changed many people’s lives.” She continued.

Gugu continues her sad post by thanking the public for their continued support. “To my brother and I, though, she was Mommy. My BEST FRIEND. My confidant. My greatest fan. My prayer warrior. Our queen that we so dearly loved and revered. Words will never be enough to express our appreciation for the love and affection that she single-handedly raised us with.”

“We never lacked; and when the opportunity presented itself, we ensured that she never did too - and we are appreciative of this. We thank God that she lived long enough to watch her children be successes in their own rights, and bless her for it in return. Today, we are at peace knowing that she rests with the knowledge that she was loved and appreciated immensely.”
