Season 13 Idols SA winner Paxton Fielies has recently taken to her social media platforms to give her fans a sneak peek inside her home renovations journey.
The singer said she is excited about this journey, she said she never thought it would happen this soon.
Taking to Instagram, Paxton wrote: "Entering the new week with so much gratitude, I’m so excited to be sharing this new journey with you guys as this would not have been possible without you!🥺❤️
This project is so personal to me, I never thought that I would be able to do this for my family at such a young age!"
She said it has been difficult for her to get to this point. She also shared that she has been conned in the process.
"I’m not going to lie and say that this journey has been incredible because it has probably been the most challenging and draining experience thus far 🙆♀️!
"It went from me working with the wrong builder and getting conned, to the building standing for almost a year and deteriorating, to us entering a hard lockdown which then led to the music industry taking a huge knock and work opportunities becoming scarce," she said.
Even though it has been a bumpy ride, Paxton said she is excited about the journey and she is happy to share it with her fans.
"It was not easy and I made a lot of mistakes along the way, but things are finally starting to look up!😫Trust me, we’ve still got a long way to go this project has definitely tested my patience🥲, but
"I’m excited to get creative and make this space my own!
All glory be to God for making this possible, we’re getting there slowly but surely🙏. I really hope you guys will enjoy this series🏠!" she concluded.
Industry friends and fans took to the comments section to congratulate her.
Yanga Sobetwa responded: "Baby girl I’m rooting for you ❤️"
Tracy Lange: "Well done girl!! All will go well and we pray for a smoother ride from here ❤️"
