Facebook R*pist Thabo Bester Escaped Prison, Confirms DCS

Social media is up in arms following the new developments surrounding Facebook r*pist and murderer, Thabo Bester. According to the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) statement, it is confirmed Bester's escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre.

After much speculations surrounding Thabo Bester saga, indeed the Facebook r*pist and murderer escaped from Mangaung Correctional Centre. In an internal report released by the department of correctional services, on the 03 May, 2022, it was confirmed that Bester did escape the prison following a staged fire in his cell.

"On 2 May 2022, the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) received a report from the Mangaung Correctional Centre, a public-private partnership (PPP) facility contracted to Bloemfontein Correctional Contracts, operated by G4S, indicating that offender, Thabo Bester committed suicide by setting himself alight in his cell at about 3h25. This incident attracted media attention and it was confirmed to various media houses as received from G4S" reads the DCS statement

The Department of Correctional Services further confirmed, that the burnt body that was found in a cell does not belong to Thabo Bester. The DCS appeals to the public for any assistance to re-arrest, Thabo Bester.

"Critical at this stage for Thabo Bester to be found. DCS is appealing to the public to assist with any information that may lead to the re-arrest of Bester. Such information should be provided to the nearest police station or a correctional services facility" reads the DCS statement

Bester who tormented, r*ped and killed scores of women continues to be at large while both the South African Police Services and the Department of Correctional Services are said to be still investigating. The uproar surrounding Thabo Bester is still in an all time high as more details are revealed surrounding his prison escape.

Media Personality Pearl Thusi also had a narrow escape when she was in Thabo Bester's captive. While scores of women were r*ped, robbed of their personal belongings, some even murdered. Pearl Thusi was one of the lucky ones to escape the death bed at the hands of Bester.

A retired police officer who had an affidavit statement made made by Pearl Thusi once revealed to the Sunday World how Thusi escaped Bester. In the statement, Thusi relays how she survived from a deathbed at the hands of Thabo, who at the time was going by the name of Thomas Bester.

In a statement, Thusi says she met Bester in June 2011 and almost became one of his victims. The statement, dated July 2 2021, reads, "I drove slowly and began trying to negotiate with him. I asked him not to take my laptop because all my daughter's photos were there. He surprisingly agreed. He promised not to hurt me and told me he had already taken my phones, a Blackberry and an iPhone" reads the statement
