Returning to the small screens with his new show which will premiere on 1Magic, Phat Joe will be chatting with high-ranking people such as politicians, TV directors and actors about pungent issues which are, but not limited to, Men are trash, Black lives matter, lobola negotiations and so forth.

These topics have shaken the timelines all over social media with people being divided by their opposing views, twisting the statements by saying , 'Not all men are trash', 'All lives matter' and many slamming the way lobola negotiations are carried out at this day and age.

All this and more will be discussed whilst Phat Joe and his guests enjoy a nice meal.

To start off the show, viewers can expect to see award-winning businesswomen Nobuntu Webster and Gerry Eldson who is also a TV personality, Gogo Dineo, musician and motivational speaker, Joshua Maponga and TKZee’s Zwai Bala, from the Bala Brothers.

Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net Nomsa Philiso said to Daily Sun that guests will have a no filter views when it comes to such topics whilst enjoying a good meal.

"Viewers can look forward to a show where guests who hold strong and contrarian views will all sit down for a meal together to tackle topics, some that many may be considered to be hot potato issues that are part of our everyday lives. Our compact plus and premium viewers can look forward to more firsts on 1Magic, including the witty and entertaining Phat Joe on his celebrity filled reality show," she said.

Phat Joe's Radio 2000 exit was confirmed by the SABC when they announced his resignation. His resignation came after spending less than a year with the station, since April 2019. His on and off appearance on Radio 2000 has left many speculating on whether the presenter is still with the show or not. Especially following his suspension for allegedly bunking work.

Fans even took to social media over concerns of his absenteeism from radio and his silence over the whole situation. It came as no surprise looking at his history of getting suspended from radio numerous times.

Phat Joe has been in hot water with the national broadcaster several times. Neither parties have spoken out about the suspension and fans await for the rebellious presenters' response till this day.
