South African musician, Prince Kaybee, took to Twitter on Friday, 11 September 2020, to give fans an update on his highly anticipate impromptu album, Project Hope. He revealed that he would be announcing the release date for the album on Monday, 14 September 2020, and also shared the official promotional images of all the featured artists.

The ten aspiring musicians chosen by Prince Kaybee included Thembisile Q, Thalitha, Bridgette Vocalist, Thobile Ngidi, Katz the Singr, Ruby Rose, LaNeo, Sanda, Basetsana and Nosipho Sibisi. Each of the singers were seen posing alongside Prince Kaybee for the promotional images, which saw them all dressed in black.

The Project Hope album will see an amalgamation of some of South Africa’s best unsigned female singers, who had entered into a competition set up by Prince Kaybee, which initially was on the hunt for one artist, who would be a part of a collaborative song with him. The DJ's sudden change of heart came after he realised that he would be denying other singers an opportunity of being exposed to the music industry, if he only selected one winner.

Prince Kaybee has been hard at work producing and mastering the tracks, which also include input from the individual singers. The intention of Project Hope is to afford the aspiring singers the platform to reach a larger audience. The album has also been created to give the young women an opportunity of a lifetime, with hopes that it could potentially be their big break.
