"Well, in my defense I never said…." she wrote on Instagram finally addressing the matter for the first time since that wedding picture she shared.

Rami thanked her family and friends for playing along. Dineo Langa, Judith Sephuma, and Bonga Percy are some of Rami's friends who commented on her wedding picture and their comments made it more believable.

Here is what they wrote!

Dineo Langa
"When you’re with someone that reminds you that it’s not unusual when everything is beautiful."

Bonga Percy
Mara Rami!! I was so sad to miss this magical day. Congratulations, and everything of the best.

Judith Sephuma
"It was an amazing private affair, I’m glad we will have a bigger, better, huge one later I can’t wait for the world to my brother-in-law. Yhooooo"

Giving them flowers, Rami said the vibe they caused went beyond her expectations

"Thank you to ALL my family and friends for playing along. You were all amazing. Your time, your NDA responses, and the vibe you caused went beyond my expectations. My poor parents fielded calls from very upset relatives! Thanks to @makwarelaphathu @bongapercy and Gywd who were the first to ‘congratulate’ me."

Finally breaking the news, the actress expressed her gratitude to be part of the SABC's hit drama series Giyani Land If Blood. "This is @giyanisabc2, a love gift from the amazing @tshedzapictures I’m truly humbled and honored to be a part of this project. Catch us on Sabc2 on Mondays-Wednesday at 21:30"

She added: "P.S: Should I one day wake up and decide to get married again, I won’t tell you. The well wishes I received will last me for 5 lifetimes. Thank you and I appreciate you all. Please come on board the Giyani train"

She will be playing the character of Manoko Ledwaba in the new season of the show set to premiere next month on its usual slot Mondays-Wednesdays at 9 pm starting from the 1st of November.

Meanwhile, programme manager Jacqui Hlongwane said fans should expect a drama-filled season.

“Building on the success of the first season, the second one returns with more drama, intrigue, and an action-packed storyline that will have viewers glued to their screens.

"Not only can they look forward to seeing their favourite characters back, but SABC is delighted to announce that Rami will join season 2 – life will never be the same again in Giyani for sure,” Hlongane told the Daily Sun.
