Rapper Reason has had his fair share of social media smack-down from fans way too often lately. This follows after he has aired how he disapproves of rapper AKA's lyrics, where Reason has said the lyrics are problematic for him.

Following AKA’s supposedly controversial lyrics from his newest song, rapper Reason has taken to social media to voice how unhappy he is with the lyrics. Whether AKA was taking a jab at some of his fellow rappers which has jumped ships to do Amapiano. Reason, has come forth to address that these lyrics are very much problem for him.

"Hearing @akaworldwide say “Thank God they showed they true colours/ Switched up piano like Vultures” is problematic to me. Especially from a hip hop artist saying this on an Afro beat record. Like… who you talking about exactly? Give me examples" wrote Reason

Tweeps have since told Reason to take several seats as this jab was not directed to him. Retweeting Reason’s tweet, the tweep has told him that AKA wasn’t at all taking any jabs at his almost 'nonexistent’ rap career.

“I don't think that jab was for you. You've never ever been a big artist in your whole rap career. Even Ifani was bigger than you” wrote Wonder Mahlobo
Reason went on to explain how as a rapper or hip hop artist feels attacked by the lyrics. Reason says the lyrics are problematic coming from AKA’s newest song which isn’t entirely hip hop but Afro Beats. Although AKA did not specifically say who he was referring to but Reason found himself catching smoke, hence he took to Twitter to say his peace.

“Hearing @akaworldwide say “Thank God they showed they true colours/ Switched up piano like Vultures” is problematic to me. Especially from a hip hop artist saying this on an Afro beat record. Like… who you talking about exactly? Give me examples” wrote Reason
Tweeps have joined hands with this one tweep to ask Reason to take a chill pill as this sub wasn’t directed to him. Tweeps strongly believe that Reason is milking this whole situation to make it about himself, whereas in reality it isn’t about him. They also think that Reason is trying to trend at AKA’s expense.

“He's done recording, no way he waited 3 days mahala. Now he wants to trend a little, then drop a response to a line not directed at him” wrote Spaceship
“Reason has had his season before. Stop the cap. The jab is for him” wrote Lumukanda
“He is trying to milk the situation. He wants to make it about him” wrote TeeTouchZA
“None of his moments were bigger than Ifani” wrote Wonder Mahlobo
Just recently, Reason why listed as the worse rapper in South Africa, amongst other nineteen rappers. Evidently, he was also not amused by being called a worse rapper, as he took to Twitter to rubbish the claims by retweeting and swearing at the people who named him a worse rapper alive.
