Mzansi celebrities including Nadia Nakai, Ama Qamatha, Tino Chinyani, Keke Mphuti, and many more have taken to their Instagram stories to congratulate the Te Amo hitmaker.
Ayanda Thabethe said she is happy for Riri. Sharing a picture of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, the TV presenter wrote: "We totally planned to get preggies together but haters will say I am lying...My fellow Pisces. She's wanted to be a mom for a long time!! Happy for her."
TV presenter Shamiso Mosaka also tweeted, " Rihanna is pregnant and I'm not the baby."
Shutterstock broke the news of Rihanna's pregnancy on social media following their exclusive photoshoot with the star in New York.
They shared several pictures of the singer showing off her baby bump in a pink vintage coat with a caption, "Baby Joy! Rihanna is set to be a mom for the very first time!... The inseparable pair stepped out in Harlem, his hometown, looking happier than ever.
"Rihanna's bare bump was adorned by an elegant gold cross chain with colorful jewels by Christian Lacroix, as she leaned into her boyfriend for a kiss on her forehead. She looked absolutely radiant as they enjoyed a walk in the snowy brisk air together before heading back to their new apartment to prepare for parenthood."
Rihanna has worked with several Mzansi celebrities including the internationally renowned actress Thuso Mbedu who was featured on Rihanna's Savage Fenty Show Vol 3 last year.
Thuso was first spotted on the trailer of the show with her name written as one of the features for the show. She did not say much about her big gig. The actress only retweeted the trailer.

Meanwhile, last year Rihanna was also called out for "robbing SA" after she used the remake of DJ Maphorisa and Busiswa's song 'Midnight Starring' on her Fenty Beauty promo video.
Taking to Twitter, Busiswa said she was sad that Rihanna's company used the remake of the song to avoid paying them.
“Nah. @fentybeauty just used a REMAKE of Midnight Starring with my voice, to avoid paying us for it. I’m sad but it’s the game I guess,” she tweeted.
Phori also reacted to the video saying the remake was a cut and paste. He tweeted the video and captioned it: “Mara le baring mo ke cut n paste Siri Riri onketsang”
