Mogul and singer , Rihanna knows how to make head turns. This time she has the world freaking out as she finally reveals a date for new music. On Twitter last night she shared a clip of a new song, titled 'lift me up' which will drop this Friday, 28th October 2022.

The pop singer has not released a solo body of work since her last album, 'Anti' in 2016. This means the new single will be the first in 6 years. Although she has appeared as a featured artist on selected singles, like Eminem 'The Monster' and more recently on Party Next Door track 'Believe it' in 2020.

Rihanna upcoming new single , 'lift me up' is set to form part of the Marvel sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She co-wrote the song with Nigerian singer, Tems. The track is in memory of the late Chadwick Boseman who portrayed Black Panther before his passing in 2020.
