Tributes are continuing to pour in for the late legendary actress Shaleen Surtie-Richards. Mzansi celebs have taken to their social media pages to commemorate Shaleen's memory.

Actress and businesswoman Connie Ferguson said the memories and the legacy of the late Shaleen will never be forgotten.

She wrote: “Still struggling to process the news of your passing!😭 What a sad sad loss to us all!💔 Everyone who was blessed to be in your presence experienced not only a mother's love but the love of that naughty friend you bragged to your other friends about! Actress Gail Mabalane said she got an opportunity to learn some of the best industry lessons from her.

"Sad sad news indeed. 💔 I had the pleasure of meeting and working with this QUEEN; LEGEND and ICON on Rockville Season1! Some of the best industry and life lessons I got were from her. 🙏🏾 What a precious gift she was. Thank you ... for everything. Rest in power Aunty Shaleen. 😢🙏🏾" wrote Gail.
Joanne Reyneke wrote: "Our Mother has taken her final rest. What a soul she was, full of color and life. You will be missed, Mum. @brokenvows_tv."
The news of the legendary actress’s passing broke the internet earlier this week.
According to iol.co.za, Multichoice will be honouring Shaleen‘s career with her documentary titled I Am Who I Am. The documentary will air for the very first time on DStv's M-Net tonight June 9 at 7.30 pm and kykNET and kykNET & kie on Sunday, June 13 at 8 pm. The documentary will also be available on Showmax this Thursday, June 10.

The industry recently lost other two iconic actors MacDonald Ndodana Mathunjwa and David Butler.

Mathunjwa passed away last week Tuesday 1 June while Butler lost his battle with cancer two weeks ago..

Butler’s family released the statement that read: "Our beloved father, son, brother, grandfather and friend, David passed away peacefully this morning at around 10.30 am. He was surrounded by family in a room filled with love. Although he had been ill, it is still, as is always the case, a huge shock. Nothing prepares one. We take comfort that David is reunited with his beautiful son…We respectfully ask that the family are given space to process their loss. We will share with you the details of any arrangements as they unfold."
