Award-winning rapper Sho Madjozi can now add another award to her growing list of accomplishments after winning a Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards (KCA) 2020. The Tsonga hitmaker received the Favourite African Star at the virtually hosted awards, hosted by Victoria Justice.
The KCA awards are where the kids have all they say and green slime is the order of the day.
In the Favourite African Star category, the Huku hitmaker was nominated alongside Shekhinah, Teni, and Patricia Kihoro.
“Our job is to work, move forward, and never reverse. Nickelodeon thank you for this amazing award and to everyone that voted. I am so excited! World, we have one message for you, Africa is coming and we are coming for you,” said Sho Madjozi in a statement to TshisaLIVE.

In 2019, rapper AKA walked away with the Favourite South African Star beating actress Nomzamo Mbatha, rugby player Siya Kolisi, cricketer Kagiso Rabada and media personality Somizi to win the blimp. Sho Madjozi was not the only South African to win an award at the kid's awards, Prev Reddy won the Favourite African Social Media Star award, defeating fellow social media sensations Anne Kansiime, DJ Cuppy and Chané Grobler.
The 2020 awards are set to be broadcast on NickToonz (DStv Channel 308) on May 8 at 14.10 pm (CAT).
