Somizi last week posted pictures of himself back at work and even opened up an opportunity for upcoming designers to dress him for season 16.
The national lockdown, unfortunately, bought many productions to a halt but with regulations eased many television shows are back to business.
Production company (SIC Entertainment) is making sure that now they are back on set they are adhering to all the government lockdown guidelines and recordings.
“Idols SA Season 16 is currently in the production phase. The shooting of mass and on-line auditions was completed before the government implemented lockdown on 26 March 2020,” said Nomsa Philiso: director, Local Entertainment Channels.
The show’s start date will be announced closer to the start date.
