While many save their Wednesday’s for women crushes, we save them for our favourite celebrity winner – Somizi Mhlongo.
We were so excited to hear that he is working on compiling his memoir with Sowetan Entertainment Editor, Lesley Mofokeng, who was also responsible for Khanyi Mbau’s 2012 book, “Bitch, Please! I’m Khanyi Mbau.” During their meeting, Mhlongo shared tales of his early days in the business, working with the likes of Brenda Fassie and others and said that some of those tales would feature in the book.

No word yet on what the book will be called or when it will be ready but we will be sure to keep you updated. All we know is that he wants the cover image to be raw and real and said he will not wear any make-up or use any filters on the cover (that is something we definitely want to see!)

Last night’s episode of Living The Dream With Somizi also chronicled how the preparations for his daughter Bahumi’s umemulo were going. Mhlongo and his mother, Mary, discussed how he still needs to pay damages to Palesa Madisakwane’s family in order for Bahumi to be able to take his surname. The divo also revealed that although he lives his life in the public eye, he’d like to keep this chapter of his life under wraps.
In what turned out to be a hilarious scene, he then asked his mother whether or not Bahumi needs to be a virgin to go through with the ceremony – to which Mary adamantly replied that Bahumi is indeed a virgin.
Somizi then burst out laughing as though he knew something mam’ Mary didn’t… hmm.
Somizi is in the market for a new house…cash! Is TT overreacting about Somizi only buying the cheaper house through him? #LTDWSomizi pic.twitter.com/83TL262idm

Lastly, we saw Mhlongo finalizing arrangements to buy himself two more apartments – one closer to work because his current apartment in the North is too far and the other just to have because that’s what one does when there’s just too much money. Mmm! Nice life problems…
Living the Dream With Somizi repeats on Saturdays at 7pm on Mzansi Magic, DSTV Channel 161.
