It's been more than 20 years now since the death of Lebo and Nandi's son who drowned at their swimming pool in their Randburg home. They then erected a tombstone for him at Fourways cemetery where he is buried.

Nandi told Sunday World that her name was engraved in his tombstone and also had her late son's favourite poem. She said, "My name was there and we unveiled it after the funeral. The tombstone had my son’s favourite poem."

She then recited the poem which reads, "Twinkle, twinkle little star, Oh how I wonder how you are wherever you are. Even though your light shone the shortest, it sure was the brightest", ending the message with "Love you always, Your mom."

Now, the tombstone reads, "Love from your dad, sisters and brothers." To her surprise, she found her name replaced with Angela's son who according to Nandi is not Lebo's biological son. She believes he did it to please her disregarding her feelings in the process.

"Lebo has only one son not sons. He included Angela’s son, I guess, to please her. Imagine going to your son’s graveyard to lay flowers and you get there [and] your name and the tombstone that you picked is removed and replaced with the new wife’s family," Nandi told the publication.

She expressed shock and disappointment looking at the fact that a few months later, Lebo and Angela were divorced but still kept her side of the family. She then added that she was never invited to change the name, neither her family as well.

"I live in the US and every time I visit SA I’d go and lay flowers or toys by his tombstone. I went there to visit my late son one day and found that his tombstone had been removed. Like that was not enough, instead he put Angela’s family on my son’s tombstone. Then a few months later he and Angela were divorced but her family was still on my son’s tombstone," she said.

Nandi is not only disappointed at The Lion King producer actions but also expressed confusion at whether she should ask him for keys every time she wants to visit her son.

"Until today, he hasn’t said a word about it. One of his relatives told me that he put a padlock at our son’s graveyard. I’m not sure if I now need to call him for permission to get the keys to go and visit my son’s grave," she concluded.
