South African media personality, Thando Thabethe, has conquered one of her biggest fears – bungee jumping. The Housekeepers’ star documented her enter journey on Friday, 2 October 2020, which saw her jumping 216m off Bloukrans Bungee Bridge which is located at the border between the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape in the Tsitsikamma area of South Africa's Garden Route.0

Part 1 of her experience saw her taking on the zip line, which gave her a glimpse at what was to come with the major jump. Thereafter, Thando was seen hysterical as she was guided by the experts to commit to following through with the experience. Thando can be seen stating, “No I can’t do this”, as they edged her closer to the drop.

The actress captioned the post with, “Life lives on the other side of fear!!! I jumped from a bridge today...the highest bungee bridge in the world!!! Safe to say there’s nothing I can’t do (swipe left...see if you can see me wording that to myself just before I jumped).”

In part two, Thando’s tears began to increase as she knew exactly what was to come. Eventually, her guides gave her a small nudge forwards, allowing for her to free fall for 216m. Thereafter, the images showed Thando in a state of relief once she released the amazing feat that she had accomplished.

The actress’s famous friends were left speechless after witnessing her bravery, with many of them taking to the comment sections to sing her praises. Dineo Ranaka hilariously commented with, “My womb just fell out of my nostrils Thando!!!!!”, whilst Boity added, “It would never be me. I can feel the fear and I’d be 100x worse. I wouldn’t get to the top even. WELL DONE!!! You’re so damn brave!”.

Aside from her literal jump, Thando has experienced a week of highs following the announcement that she will be leading a Netflix original series. After bowing out from Housekeepers and nailing her role as Linda Ndlovu, Thando Thabethe is proud to inform her fans that they should not despair as she will still be gracing the screens and this time joining the Netflix family.
