Young, Famous & African is set to premiere

Given that Netflix is a global paid subscription video-on-demand streaming platform. The premiere of any show will be different depending on the time zone in which the subscriber is located. As such, this is a fact with the rollout of season two of Young, Famous & African.

As such, the reality show will premiere in South Africa as part of the last roll-out. This is as Netflix has confirmed that the new season is set to premiere at 10:00 in South Africa.
When it does finally premiere, fans can look forward to Bonang Matheba making her debut on the reality show. Moreover, Netflix had already teased what to expect with their extended trailer which saw Bonang go toe-to-toe with fellow new incomer Luis Munana.

This was reported at the time as:

...The latest trailer revealed which stars would be going at each other this season.

First, it was the surprise end of the friendship between season one best friends Annie Idibia and Swanky Jerry. This is as the two were introduced together during the first season of the show. But it seems that Swanky will also be going at it with Nadia Nakai. However, as yet the reason is unknown.

Second, it seems that the introduction of Fantana means that Zari the Boss Lady will leave Nadia alone, and focus her efforts on beefing with Fantana. This is as Fantana is Diamond Platinum’s love interest for the season.

Third, and what is the biggest surprise, it seems that Bonang will not be spending her time fighting with Nadia Nakai. Instead, it seems that the person she will have the biggest beef with during this season is a fellow new entrant to the show Luis Munana.

Currently, it is unclear just as exactly what will cause the rift. However, it does seem that it will centre around Matheba’s long and public dating history with not only South African leading male personalities. But leading African male personalities.
