

Thuso Mbedu was thrust into superstardom when she bagged the role of Winnie on Mzansi Magic’s Isithunzi and since her debut on the show, she has achieved many firsts for African actresses including being nominated for two International Emmy Awards.
Earlier this year, Thuso joined Generations and according to Sunday Sun, Thuso’s character has been written off from the soapie’s storyline as the creatives have deemed the character to have become monotonous and not strong enough for her as an actress who is used to playing characters that challenge her.
Despite that, the actress took to Instagram to share that this has been a great year for her with a heartfelt message, “This has to be my best year ever! Jokes aside. The people God has blessed me with, yere, I couldn’t have scripted your entrance better even if I tried,” she wrote in part. Take a look at the full post below:
After being nominated for her second International Emmy a couple of weeks ago, Thuso took to Instagram to share her excitement and we can understand why she is having a great year.
