Singer and Life With Kelly Khumalo star Wanda Baloyi opened up about the most difficult years of her life. She said 2019/2020 was very hard for her as she was undergoing a healing process both physical and emotional.
Kelly Khumalo's BFF said after her operation she struggled with her weight and went through depression. Wanda said the moral of her story is to encourage others to never give up because nothing lasts forever.
She wrote: "The year was 2019/2020. I was nice and plumpy just after an operation. I had a myomectomy and had 5 fibroids removed. I struggled a lot with my weight because I was going through the process of healing physically and dying emotionally. I went through depression/anxiety, heartbreak, lockdown, and loss of friends.
"What a messy year it was but hey I’m still here. More gorgeous than ever 😊. Moral of the story. Never give up on yourself. No storm lasts forever. Gob bless you❤️"
@rose_malatji said she shares the same sentiments with Wanda sharing her story, she wrote: “Strength to you my Sis 😍🔥 I know how painful Fibroids are, operated 2015 and now lately been experiencing pains and I knew for sure cause it felt like yesterday, which means I have to operate again and emotionally I am not ready for another painful pain 😢😢”
Nhlanhla Nciza responded: “Amen sis, and how happy and blessed are we that you are here with us.”
In the previous episode of Life With Kelly Khumalo, Wanda shared that she is planning to stay at her home in Mozambique for a while for some regrouping and start afresh.
Tweeps applauded her on her big decision, @bossmatriach tweeted: "On the previous episode of Life With Kelly Khumalo, Wanda shared that she is planning to stay at her home in Mozambique for a while for some regrouping and peace. #LifeWithKellyKhumalo"
@sissgugu: "Wanda Baloyi reminds me of Nothende. That rare talent that remains underrated. Life can be weird. Those who keep trying one path, often end up on different journeys. While someone else can try the same path ONCE and supersede any OG. Hence I believe in luck,
“I’d love to go to Mozambique but I’ve heard many stories about the waters that side. Abanye bathi the water that side is stronger than any (spiritually) and ungahamba nawo very randomly. This place is beautiful Kodwa. #LifeWithKellyKhumalo.”
The second season of Life With Kelly Khumalo recently premiered on Showmax. The show also won the Best Structured Soapie Reality show at the SAFTA’s Craft Awards this year.
