Over the weekend it was announced that etv's popular music show - Club 808 was officially shutting down after seven years of providing people with great musical content & entertainment
The show's current presenter - Bontle Modiselle also confirmed the news on her Twitter account on Monday afternoon.
News is out. After serving great music & entertainment for 7 years, @Club808 is coming to end officially on 30 March 2018.

Throughout the years, Club 808 has had multiple changes when it came to its presenters, we've seen them come and go. So it's unfortunate that we won't be seeing the next generation of potential Club 808 presenters grace our TV screens in the future.
However, we have been blessed with a number of presenters that made the show what it has become.
Out of all these Club 808 presenters, who was your favourtie?
Was it Nonhle Thema & Mo Flava?
Or was it Dineo Ranaka & Mo Flava?
But after Dineo announced her departure from the show we then saw Thando Thabethe take the limelight. Did she do it for you while on the show?
And just when we thought no man would ever take Mo Flava's place on the show, we were proven wrong when Cyprian Ndlovu took the role as the alpha-male of the Club 808 team alongside the beautiful Boity who replaced Thando Thabethe.
For a while, the above duo dominated the show until Bontle and Lawrence were called on to hold the ort.
In our opinion, Bontle and Lawrence were probably the sexiest Club 808 presenters in the history of the music show.
The last airing episode of Club 808 will be on the 30th of March, if you are a fan of the show make sure you don't miss it.
