The wait for Xolani Gwala’s return to radio is finally over as he will be making a temporary return to the airwaves this week.
702 made the announcement on Twitter, much to the delight of their listeners who have been waiting for his return and news about his recovery following the revelation of a cancer diagnosis late last year.

Gwala will be stepping in for Joanne Josephs on the drive time slot (3 – 6pm) while she is away for a few weeks. Fans were quick to welcome Gwala back with open arms.
