Finally Tunakie’s family will finally get to be with their loved one for the last time. According to The Namibian, Tunakie’s body is expected to arrive in Namibia today. There was a bit of delay when it comes to getting it repatriated from South Africa.

Her aunt Angie Nampala confirmed to the publication that her remains are expected soon “After receiving her remains, we will drive through Windhoek’s Independence Avenue, then along Monte Christo Road, and then to the Omusati region.”
“On Friday, 7 May a memorial service will be held at Oshuungu village in the Omusati region. We hope to have the funeral on Saturday, 8 May. We would like to thank everyone who was a part of this long journey thus far. We love and appreciate you all.”
Tunakie passed away in SA, Cape Town, after collapsing at her salon on the 24th of April 2021.
