Gospel musician Dumi Mkokstad's wife Dr. Ziphozenkosi has put other wives under pressure when it comes to spoiling their partners on their birthday, as she made a big purchase from her husband.

The mother of one definitely deserves the wife of the year award after spoiling her husband with a brand new ride.

Dumi recently celebrated his birthday and it was nothing short of amazing. In a video shared by Fresh Trendz, Dumi can be seen coming out of the yard blindfolded as Ziphozenkosi prepares to surprise her. He can be heard saying he is expecting a dog but little did he know it was something major. Upon opening his eyes, he gets surprised with a white VW Polo.

Taking to her Instagram account Dr Zipho shared a picture of Dumi posing in front on his car and captioned the post "I appreciate you so much! I wish I could tell the whole world 🤍 We hope you enjoy your soccer toy. Nani and I love you love you so so much.  To many many more birthdays together!," Dumi replied to the post by appreciating the gift.

On Mother's Day, the gospel star took to his Instagram account to gush about her. He penned a heartfelt message dedicated to her:

"From our first date sister @dr_ziphozenkosi. Thank you for allowing me to ruin your life nana…. from being the lady who woke up, dressed up, drove off to wherever you wanted to go Now….. You having to report your daily life to someone . And now to having to think whether the journey you taking is worth you leaving your precious baby at home or having to first put iCarseat in the car. You can’t just get up and leave. Lenani, Likuwe and I Love you more than anything," he wrote.

The couple has won the hearts of many people with their relationship goals.  They recently welcomed their first baby together. Dumi angered Twitter users recently following the passing of hip-hop star Riky Rick. This followed after he tweeted “Suicide isn't the solution. Christ is.”

He later set the record straight on what he meant. He said he said he would never judge someone who took their life because of depression because he has also gone through depression.

“Because I have been through depression I wrote tweets yesterday with the #RIKYRICK_I_UNDERSTAND because I have been there and was on the verge of committing suicide myself. Therefore I can never judge anyone who ends up taking their lives because I know exactly what they’re facing,” he tweeted.

“Maybe let’s start here. I have been through depression myself and would never not understand anyone's reaction to it. People deal with situations differently and I will never judge anyone who may go through that.”
