Lasizwe Is Full Of Surprises

Comedian Lasizwe Dambuza has decided to put a smile on his aunt’s face by gifting her a priceless trip to the Mothercity. As a person who has never been to Cape Town, his aunt got surprised to a mini vacation in Cape Town and her reaction is just what the comedian signed up for.

As a gift to her for her birthday, he booked them a vacation to Cape Town where they would bond as a family. The YouTuber captured her reaction at the airport and she was visibly startled. The family to the beach, and then had a birthday lunch at a stunning restaurant.

Lasizwe said this was a way of honouring her for the role she played in his life since his mother’s passing. In 2016, Lasizwe’s life took a hard knock when his mother Lindiwe Dambuza passed on in 2016. His aunt then took on the role.

He captioned the video, “My aunt who has turned into a mother in my life after my mother’s passing hasn’t been to Cape Town, so for her birthday, I decided to fly her and family for a mini-vacation to celebrate her birthday. Her reaction is priceless! Will forever treasure such moments.“

In an interview on Trending SA, Lasizwe opened up about the passing of his mother, which was after his matric exams:

“Sometimes I say it was a blessing in disguise because it was just when I finished my matric exams…my mom was going through a rough patch in her life…she was diagnosed with a heart condition because of stress…and I kept on saying mom I need to go to matric dance…and the day we went to go shopping, financially…it wasn’t as stable as it was, so she spent her last money on suits shirts and stuff,” he said.
