If there's an artist who deserved every bit of success that came her way in 2018 (and even this year), it's this lady right here.
Ever since Busiswa stepped into the scene, she has blessed South Africa with a number of hit songs, whether it was a feature or a song of her own, Busiswa is a shining example of what a national treasure is.

In the past year, we've seen the performer rake in a lot of Ws (wins) for herself, this month will mark a year since she became a mother to her gorgeous son, Lakhanya - probably one of her greatest achievements to date.
And then there were the accolades... Her most recent accolade was the Sound City MVP award for Best Female held in Nigeria. See, even the rest of Africa acknowledges this queen!
It's quite clear that Busiswa has got most of our local musical genres wrapped around her finger. She could record a gospel song and it would probably win the Best Gospel Album if done right.
It's no wonder she managed to win three awards for Best House Artist, Most Voted Single & Best Female at the Kwaito/House Awards last year.

Oh, and let's not forget how regal she looked on her first magazine cover for Bona.
One way to measure how successful you've been within the year, especially if you're working in the music industry is to see the number of gigs you've been booked for in the festive season, and let's just say Busiswa was cashing in on them cheques, honey!
We can't wait to see what she has in store for us in 2019. Keep snatching those wins and wigs, Busiswa.
