We’re barely 10 days into 2019, but some of our celebrities are already slaying in their own lanes. One such superstar is Busiswa who has already picked up her first international award of the year.
Busiswa rolled into 2019 on a high note after seeing her and Prince Kaybee’s song, Banomoya, named as “Song of the Year” on a number of local radio stations. Just when we thought she was about to take a break, the vocalist jetted off to Nigeria, where she was a part of this year’s SoundCity MVP Awards.
For those who may not be familiar with the brand, Sound City is a music channel and content hub originating in West Africa, but covering the entire continent. The musician was a nominee at this year’s awards and the queen of house walked away with an exciting Best Female MVP Award.
She shared the news on her Instagram page:
Busiswa was one of the hardest working individuals in 2018, and you can certainly expect her to carry on with the magic this year. One big highlight that many of her fans have been begging for is a one-woman show, on the scale of some of the concerts we’ve seen in recent years:
What do you think, would Busiswa be able to Fill up the Dome like Cassper Nyovest?
