There was drama after Sunday World newspaper broke the news about Bonang's tax evasion in August this year. The paper reported that the former Top Billing presenter was under investigation after failing to submit her tax returns. However, the reality TV star took to Twitter to refute the claims, adding that she would take legal action against the publication.
The publication stood by its story. "We stand by the report and comment by the National Prosecuting Authority South Gauteng spokesperson, Phindile Louw-Mjonodwane, who firmly confirmed the matter to us," said Sunday World editor Mapula Nkosi.
