Castle Lite Unlocks Postponed!!

Cardi B’s fans are in for some disappointment, as the much-anticipated Castle Lite Unlocks event, which was scheduled to take place in June 2020 at the TicketPro Dome in Johannesburg, has been postponed.

Cardi B was one of the big headliners for the renowned coolest hip-hop event and she was set to take SA by storm. The event has been postponed in light of the announcement made by President Cyril Ramaphosa on the Government’s strict action in addressing the COVID-19 outbreak.

Africa’s biggest premium beer brand, Castle Lite released a statement to inform the masses that the event has been put on ice.

 

“We share the disappointment of our fans during this time of uncertainty, however, as a brand that cares for its consumers, we cannot ignore the growing concerns for health and safety as a result of the rapid spread of the COVID-19 in South Africa and around the world.  It is important to highlight that an event of this magnitude has multiple moving parts and for this reason, the brand is deliberating and will communicate further details around new date and tickets by the end of March 2020,” said Castle Lite Brand Director Silke Bucker.

They further revealed that they are still in talks with Cardi B and all other stakeholders involved. The event’s organisers maintained that the event will take place once it is safe to do so.

 
To those who have already purchased tickets to the event, the tickets are still valid and they should hold on to them until a new date has been announced. They will then be able to exchange their tickets for the new date.

Those who wish to no longer attend the experience, will be able to obtain a full refund, but details will be communicated once they have announced the new date.
