Is it true that the 16 fired Generations cast members are set to star in their own series? Well, according to the Sunday World the plan was revealed to them “by one of the players involved in the coup”.
While there’s no mention of who leaked the news, apparently Sophie Ndaba and Winnie Ntshaba are said to be the “kingpins” of the whole operation.
According to the publication, Durban power couple, Sbu and Shauwn Mpisane, were allegedly “going to pour millions into the new soap”. Shauwn Mpisane was quick to dismiss rumours however, telling Sunday World, “Why would I fund a soapie? I was not approached to fund any soapie and it’s not in my territory.”
So is it really going to happen? Honestly, we can’t be sure. But if it does happen they should call the soapie “Fired” or “Revenge of the 16” or something along those lines.
