#IdolsSA: That’s It For Mmangaliso!
The current season of Idols gets tougher and more intense by the week. Just as one vouches for their fave to make it through to the next round, an axe unexpectedly falls on them.

Last night’s episode proved to be quite a hard one for a barrage of viewers in Mzansi. Many were shocked to learn that the much-loved contestant, Mmangaliso Gumbi, would be the one going home.

Mmangaliso has been undeniably consistent on the show. The consistency tracks back from the audition phase of the competition, where she won the judges’ and viewers’ hearts with her signature husky voice.

There has been several times when the 23-year-old vocalist slayed the Idols stage. However, her most memorable performance has to be her rendition of Mlindo The Vocalist’s hit single, ‘Egoli’. One could easily feel that the song personally struck a chord with her.

Mmamgaliso formed part of the popular #KZNGang together with other contestants on the show including, Sneziey and Viggy and Virginia Qwabe.

Other remaining contestants include, Nolo Seodisha, Micayla Oelofse and Luxolo Yiba.

We certainly hope that this won’t be the last time we hear from Mmangi because her musical talent knows no boundaries!
