The 'Piano King' has been working very hard this year alongside 'Lawd Of Hits' DJ ,Maphorisa, to ensure fans have the best December yet.
Having just released their highly anticipated The Return Of Scorpion over the weekend, for some it has already been dubbed album of the year; following their first collaborative release.
But, Kabza is said to be overworking and has had a lack of sleep by worried fans. Some even went as far as making jokes about the situation. Even though the streets found humour in all of this, Maphorisa has received some heavy criticism from fans, claiming that he overworks him.
A video that was released in a bid to promote an upcoming event the pair had planned at Zone 6, had fans worried when they noticed the exhaustion in Kabza. It is at the concert that they were also set to debute their new album.
Kabza has ridiculed claims that he is being overworked by Maphorisa in a recent interview with TshisaLive.
December is the busiest month of the year, in terms of bookings and gigs, but Kabza plans on spending his festive days cooped up in either his bedroom or on the road between gigs trying to get as much sleep as possible.
Trying to make sense of the situation, the hit-maker says he is actually very young. "Exhaustion is definitely a false claim. I'm more alive and happy than I’ve ever been in my career."
He continues by adding, "Sleep as much as possible, on the road during the week. Drinking lots of water and a cold one here and there just to keep things. But, yea, I'll definitely be trying to strike a balance between the shows and off days for rest."
The duo's first album Scorpion Kings EP recently went Diamond, scooping over 100,000 units. Fans are confident that this EP will rake in the numbers as well.
