In South Africa, a total of 51 coronavirus cases have been confirmed. On Saturday 13 new cases were identified, increasing the already known cases.
Whilst it had seemed that people in Mzansi were not taking the coronavirus seriously it seems that they now are as the number of confirmed cases rises.
Sanitizers and wet wipes are flying off shelves at shops as South Africans look to protect themselves.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has even called for an emergency cabinet meeting to discuss a way to contain the spread of the virus. South Africans seem to think that the best way to contain the virus is for the country to be lockdown.
