There is a famous saying in the entertainment world that goes, :"The show must go on"... These words could probably be best to describe South African hip hop star, Pdoto's predicament that he recently found himself in.

27 April is that one day in the social calendar whereby;  hip hop heads wait almost on bated breath to sing along or bop their heads to their faves at Africa's biggest hip hop festival - Back To The City. This festival has been marred with various crimes including, pick-pocketing, hijacking, just to mention a few.

Pretoria based rapper,Pdoto had a nasty experience this weekend when he was robbed of his car, just two hours before he got on stage.  The star was one of the hip hop acts that were booked as part of the massive line up at Mary Fitzgerald square in Newtown, Johannesburg.

Taking to Twitter, Pdoto posted the following:

Pdoto's scores of fans showed deep concern. Peep their comments below:

South African house DJ, Shimza had previously fallen victim of a similar robbery. This was after thugs helped themselves to his snazzy Mercedes Benz, which was reeled out of his garage inside his home.

Upon this traumatising discovery, DJ Shimza took to his social media pages and asked for assistance to anyone that might have information about the whereabouts of his luxurious car. Though this move from the DJ's end was seen as a publicity stunt, some actually sympathised with him.
