Usually, when a suspect is accused of murder and standing in front of the judge, the last thing you would expect is for them to appear as though they're in a happy mood.
However, that was not the case for Pitch Black Afro, who was arrested last week for allegedly murdering his wife, Catherine Trisha Modisane at a B&B in Johannesburg on New Years Eve.
The mid-2000s rapper, who has been charged with premeditated murder and defeating the ends of justice, appeared at the Johannesburg Magistrate Court on Tuesday, 15 January, and was seen to be acting in a very joyful manner even though he has found himself is in a very dire situation.
According to Daily Sun, the rapper was all smiles as he greeted the media and conversed with his mother before the court hearing commenced.
It is reported that the rapper's behaviour was quite alarming as he also posed for pictures as though he was at a concert.
Speaking to Daily Sun, his mom expressed that she is leaving everything about this situation up to God as she is as confused as some of Pitch Black Afro's friends about this entire situation.
It has been further reported that the hip hop artist is still seeking legal representation. His case has also been postponed to Friday, 18 January.
His wife was laid to rest last weekend in Meadowlands, Soweto.
