The album released on the 8th of March and within 24 hours it had already made enough sales to recoup the coveted status. According to reports, Kaybee managed to achieve this Gold Status thanks to the release of 3 singles - "Banomoya" "Fetch Your Life" and "Club Controller".
These 3 singles allegedly pulled in a total of 47 million streams alone (1500 = 1 sale) meaning by the time it had release, "Remmino" had made over 31,000 sales.
Prince Kaybee is focused on bringing his brand of music to the world with his newly announced tour. We already knew he was heading to Australia, but now he has confirmed that he will be performing in the Northern hemisphere too!
Prince Kaybee shared his tour dates on Twitter and we were pleasantly surprised to note that he also plans on playing a number of Venues in Africa and Europe. Kaybee revealed he'd be performing in Botswana, Zimbabwe and a few other locations in between his Mzansi dates.
Once he's done here and in Australia, he'll head to Germany, Ireland and finally two more venues in the United Kingdom. Talk about adding miles to your profile!
Prince Kaybee is finally enjoying happier fortunes after a controversial start to the year. The release of "Remmino" looked to be in jeopardy after a fall out with TNS. The young producer, who worked on some of these big hits with him, was axed by Prince Kaybee after a love triangle gone wrong. The DJ said:
"These false allegations are painful & discouraging considering that I went out of my way to support his career and finance his dreams during the period of our personal and professional relationship only for him to betray me by having an affair with someone I was seeing a while back,"
Have you heard "Remmino"? Do you think it has everything it takes to go platinum?
